Our suppliers salvage timber from demolitions of large buildings such as old wool stores, army barracks and wharves. These timbers have been allowed to season gradually over a long period of time, sometimes up to 100 years resulting in a stable and sustainable building product.
Some advantages of using recycled hardwood include it's high stability, as seasoning movements have already occurred and very high strength ratings which ensure your home is sustainable for decades to come.
