This award winning waterfront new home in Morning Bay designed and owned by Larry Eastwood of Eastwood Designs was conceived as a home for two with self contained guest accommodation below.
The timber post and beam construction has a beautifully handcrafted staircase, and floor to ceiling timber and glass louvres for cross flow ventilation.

A beautiful yet functional new boatshed designed by Architect David Tory incorporating recycled hardwood details, with complementing stonework. A substantial amount of retaining was required for this site.
 An extensive renovation after initially completing it's boatshed, this home nestled amongst the native surroundings of Lovett Bay gave way to a new commercial style kitchen complete with cool room and scullery.
The existing red mahogany panelling was restored. A glass roof captures precious sunlight, a new sandstone courtyard which links the new studio, are some of the features of this project. Various detailed craftsmanship of recycled red mahogany and Australian cedar throughout the home creates an exquisite structure the owners thoroughly enjoy.

Another design by architect David Tory sees this structure boasting a polished concrete floor and new guinea rosewood sliding doors. The skilion roof captures the northerly aspect while the use of beautiful recycled ironbark provides a sound yet elegant structure. A burmese teak floor grate in the shower is one of many detailed finishes.

An extremely high level of attention to detail was taken to ensure perfect functionality for the owner. This contemporary home creates an idyllic sanctuary for it's owners to enjoy the spectacular views of Pittwater.
